And now… What time is it folks? It’s time for… ADVENTURES IN MISTRANSLATION!!!
I found this gem of humor (Why I called it that, you’ll find out soon) in the toy section of a local supermarket a few days ago. It’s got quite a few toys with good grammar and spelling laughable “chinglish” on the packaging. This happened to be my second Chinglish “discovery” after the “child-salf” stamp pad I had gotten when I was 7.

… What is “catena”? The word “catena” and the phrase “Completely new to come in to the market” really shout: “MADE IN CHINA!!!” If this could get a report card grade for Spelling, it would easily get an A+ F. Did you like the star pattern dividing the description and the opening?
